Not quite as good as 'a little to the left', I think. The pacing feels off and the last two panels are rather meh. Still, it went pretty well!

Tell me, please. Is the use of 'figures' as a shortened form of 'go figure' or 'that figures' regional?

_{I remembered more than halfway through that concrete, like most absorbant cloth, gets significantly darker when wet. Oh well~}
